A wonderful happenstance to discover the best sushi place in Qld here, tucked away in this strange mall. ....haven't eaten this level of delightful and yet playing with Japanese flavours since..well.. Tokyo. So basically my mind says don't tell anyone...my heart and happy belly says everyone try it out ... Lol and the person who had the fit over the 30c surcharge...with the exceptional ingredients and food, Sushi Yuri could charge double - I'm glad it was within my treat budget.

If you take freshness into account when having sushi, no doubt this place is where you would enjoy. Since the new owner took over, they have brought a new menu that is delightful to choose from. Their Sushi salad contains all freshness of veges, salmon, tuna and king fish, as you can see. My favourite is now terriyaki chicken bento. Simply, I loved it. Rolled sushi I enjoyed also looked beautifully made with reasonable price.

It was a store where I occasionally bought a few pieces of sushi, but since the owner changed, the food has become fresher and tastier. In particular, the prawn aburi and special roll are excellent.

When I choose Sushi Yuri for some lunch or a quick sushi roll to snack on, I can always be sure the food is fresh and prepared with care. The staff members are polite and clearly passionate about their menu, and bringing an authentic Japanese cuisine. The shop is small and cozy, and inviting to all. Would highly recommend!

This place is a fantastic spot for those who love bento boxes and sushi rolls. Their bento boxes are well-portioned and packed with a variety of flavours which make a perfect meal. The rolls are also very satisfying making each bite delightful and my kids loved them as well! The shop’s casual atmosphere and friendly service make it a great choice for a quick, delicious meal. If you need to grab lunch on the go, this place never disappoints
